Ashley Martinez-
Owner and Lead Teacher
Ashley Martinez was born and raised in Texas. Ashley received her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2008, while working as a water safety instructor, life guard and life guard instructor at the naval base. After receiving her degree, she actively pursued her teaching certification while working as a Marketing Assistant at the Naval Air Station in Kingsville. In 2010, Ashley started working at New Braunfels High School as an Art Teacher and Assistant Swim Coach. Over the last 10 years she has worked with children and adults of all ages teaching art and swimming. In 2011 she and Shannon Legg started Traveling ART. From the beginning of traveling to business and houses in and around New Braunfels to developing a full curriculum for Toddlers to Adults at their Studio and Gallery in Gruene Lake Village, Ashley has dedicated her life to bringing affordable art education to the New Braunfels community. At Traveling ART we teach the fun of fine art, the importance of art education in childhood development and cognitive thinking and also the added therapy of learning something you never thought possible. Ashley is certified by the State Board of Education to teach all levels of Art.

Alyssa LeLeux-
FreeStyle Staff and Instructor
Alyssa is a graduating high school student at CISD, who is extremely passionate about art and educating children. She has been an intern with Traveling ART from May 2015 to December 2015. She has shown a passion for teaching and amazing skills at maintaining an organized and creative classroom! She is now ready to rock as an official instructor for 2016.
She holds many leadership positions for various academic organizations at Canyon High School. She hopes to dedicate her life to educating children about art and to become a teacher for the state of Texas. (Can't wait to see which college she will be excepted to!!!)
